Membership types

Ordinary Membership (R1500 per annum): Ordinary members are veterinarians registered with the South African Veterinary Council, and are members of the South African Veterinary Association (SAVA). All voting rights.

Cadet Membership (no fee): undergraduate students only and already cadet members of the SAVA, no voting rights.

Associate Membership (R1500 per annum): Veterinarians residing outside South Africa and who are not members of the SAVA, no voting rights.

Pay your annual membership fees before the 28th of February and take advantage of up to R500 discount on your membership fees

Please note the following:

A member shall cease to be a member of the Group if his annual membership fees are in arrears by more than six months.

Any member wishing to resign from the Group shall give notice in writing to the Secretary. The member shall be liable for the subscription for the year of resignation.

If a member of the Wildlife Group resigns from the SAVA, he/she shall cease to be a member of the Wildlife Group
